Items are carefully wrapped and shipped in boxes to ensure the safe arrival of your vintage item(s). We normally use USPS Priority Mail, but there may be occasions when we use FedEx Home Delivery or UPS. All packages are insured and have a tracking number. A tracking number lets you know that your purchase is on its way and it lets us know that you are in receipt of your purchase. If there is a problem with your order please contact us right away.
All adresses must be verified. I hope my international buyers understand that we will not be able to ship to you if you do not possess an establised verified account with PayPal. If you cannot provide what is required we will refund your purchase fully. Once you have placed your order we will contact you with your shipping charges. If you prefer to check for estimated charges first before making a purchase you can do so by going to the USPS Website. All items ship via USPS International Priority Mail — Insured. The size and weight will depend on the item you purchase. Please contact me for exact shipping costs. The value of all items must be reported honestly for customs and declared on the package. Once all items and shipping have been paid you will receive a tracking number.
Our Return Policy:
ITEM MUST BE RETUNED WITHIN: 6 DAYS of receipt — providing we have discussed and approved the return. Any return must be accompanied by our return authorization number.
Our goal is for you to enjoy your new treasured vintage item. We make every effort to show all aspects of the item you are purchasing through description and photos. Please understand that buyers remorse is not a reason for returning an item to us. You are buying a vintage item; If buying vintage is new to you and you are expecting a brand new item to arrive you may be disappointed. In many cases these items are 50 to 100 years old and have been previously loved and used. Although I feel like we have some outstanding items, they are preowned. So please, may we ask that you decide wisely based on our description and the photographs for each item.
YOUR CHOICE OF STORE CREDIT OR A RETURN MINUS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE. We want to be fair and we want your continued business so please let us try to work out a mutually equitable solution. After we have made positive identification and upon verification that there have been no alterations and the item(s) returned have not been damaged we offer a choice to our customers. You may ask for either a refund minus a re-stocking fee of 20% of the price paid or we will off a store credit for the full purchase price.
We know our products well and each item sold is thoroughly photographed with a macro lens so that we have absolute proof of what condition the item was in. These photos (not shown in ad) are kept permanently for our records. We do this so that there is no confusion about the quality of an item or the condition while in our care.
IF YOUR PACKAGE WAS DAMAGED
If your package was damaged in route to you please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to our contact page and send us a message.
A notification is sent to you when the item is shipped and we receive a notification when the item is delivered to your shipping address. You have a total of 6 days from the delivery date to notify us about a problem, request a return authorization and then ship it back to us. If the address you give us for shipping is not your home please be aware that the shipment is on its way and that you only have 6 days from the date of its arrival to notify us about a problem, request a return authorization and then ship it back to us.
IF THE PACKAGE IS DAMAGED BY SHIPPER, A REFUND WILL BE GIVEN: But only after we are in receipt of the item(s) — and all of the original packaging materials. Note: We ask that you notify us within 3 days if there is damage due to shipping
and a total of 6 days from the arrival date to return your item(s) — and we will discuss the best option for your return.
If the item was damaged during shipment:
- KEEP ALL PACKING MATERIALS including the box and return to us.
- Please provide a photo of the damage along with your best explanation of the damage done by the carrier.
- Return your purchaed item(s) including the original box and packaging.
- All packaging and photos of damage must accompany your request for return. These items are then forwarded to the carrier — if we do not have these items we cannot be compensated for the loss. After we receive your return, and before we can file a claim, we must view the file kept on each item sold to make positive identification. We must verify that this is indeed the item we sold to you. We do this by comparing macro photos taken for the explicit intent to identify each listed item and its condition. All refunds are subject to a 30 percent restocking fee if we deem there is no damage to the item and no claim can be made with shipper.
